Evidence:
Joining a writing co-op with some lovely ladies this year to discuss writing, make goals, hold accountable, encourage and be encouraged, read books about writing. It’s shoulder-to-shoulder friendship–CSL style.
Writing emails, FB and Thank you cards. And, journaling. But, a lot of the words are just staying in my brain doing calisthenics.
Starting this blog?
Signing up for www.m-w.com’s word of the day in order to gobble up tasty verbal yumyums. “Weasel word”? “Apoditic”? “Scarify”?
Starting to think about my real life in metaphorical terms. Example, I bought Wite-Out Wednesday afternoon and realized that’s exactly what I needed for the phone interview I had that morning.
Exploring possible venues for my voice… and research them.
Scribbling and typing.
Thinking and praying, “Please.”
Reading. So what if I do it anyway;)
Acknowledging that I do enjoy writing, regardless of my skill level or readership. Writing helps me live.
“Acknowledging that I do enjoy writing, regardless of my skill level or readership. Writing helps me live.”
Good. Then live well through this enjoyment – pursue it with abandon and passion!
